      On Sunday, March 5th, 2017 at Carveth Care Centre Gananoque Alice Crowder peacefully entered into rest at the age of 97 years. Born February 6th, 1920 to Harry & Hilda Simzer of Mountain, ON. She was a long time resident of Crowder Road in Spencerville, ON and after retirement Prescott, ON. Alice Crowder was the beloved wife of the late Harold Crowder. She is survived by three daughters, Betty McGuire (Melville), Theresa Whiffen, Lois Etue (Peter), and two sons Lloyd (Norma), and Glen (Dollena). Alice was the grandmother of many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
      Family and Friends may call from 1-1:45 PM on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 at the MACKAY Funeral Home 416 Dibble St. West Prescott. Funeral service will follow at 2 PM in the Prescott Chapel of the funeral home. Interment following at Roselawn Memorial Gardens 2451 County Road 15 Maitland.
