    • ETUE, Gregrey Wilfred James
It is with profound saddness we announce the passing of Greg. Loving husband of Carol Anne Meehan and proud father of Evan and Elena Etue. Predeceased by his father Earl Etue and mother Ruth Etue (Lusty). Survived by sister Carolyn (Norman Burnham) of Toronto, and Joanne, Texas. Greg will be sadly missed by Carol Anne's family, Robert and Laura Meehan, Catherine (Sven Olsson), Colleen (Terry Steeves) Gabrielle (Paul Mills), Grace (Rob Hickson) and his eleven nieces and nephews.
Greg owned and operated Ottawa Natural Clinic Pharmacy in downtown Ottawa for more than 25 years. Ahead of his time, he refused to sell tobacco products and introduced naturopathy and homeopathy products to his clients. The store, like Greg, was unique and interesting.
Greg loved boating, fishing, skiing, growing tomatoes, and telling wacky jokes. His greatest love was his family who miss him terribly.
A private funeral will be held. Donations to the Maycourt Hospice in Greg's name would be appreciated.
Greg Etue, 56, had been missing since Monday, Jan. 16, 2012. He was the husband of CTV Ottawa anchor Carol Anne Meehan. Greg Etue, husband of CTV Ottawa's Carol Anne Meehan, has been found dead near Killaloe, Ont.
The well-known pharmacist hadn't been seen or heard from since Jan. 16 when he left home in the family van. Ontario Provincial Police said they found Etue and the 2008 Pontiac Montana on High Crest Lane in Brudenell around 12:30 p.m. Monday. Foul play is not suspected.
"This was an extremely sad story that everybody hoped would turn out very differently," said Richard Gray, vice-president and general manager of CTV Ottawa. "Carol Anne and her family are absolutely devastated as they were continuing to hope that her husband Greg would return home safe and sound."
"All of us at CTV have the deepest of sympathies and would like to pass on our condolences to her in this time of great loss."
CTV Ottawa's thoughts and prayers are with Carol Anne and her family, and we want to thank the many members of the public for their messages of support.
Brudenell is about two-and-a-half hours west of downtown Ottawa.
A Private funeral will be held.
